Dumbing Us Down

I recommend this book for whoever is thinking of home schooling.  Dumbing Us Down, by John Taylor Gatto.

Mr. Gatto is a former teacher (30 years) and was actually Teacher of the Year in New York State.

Hope read this book in January of this year and I read it a few years ago.  It is very eye opening and counter-cultural.  Be ready to have your previous beliefs about school challenged. :-)
